Overview
Siglattice is a privately operated personal information system maintained by Kristopher Williams. Its Atlas software connects services explicitly authorized by the operator in order to organize personal signals, maintain tasks and calendars, and provide related personal workflows. Siglattice is not offered for public registration.
Google data accessed
When a Google account is authorized, Siglattice requests access to Google Calendar and Google Tasks. Depending on the feature requested, the system may read, create, update, or delete calendars, calendar events, task lists, and tasks. It also receives the account authorization details needed to maintain that connection, including OAuth access and refresh tokens.
How Google data is used
Google user data is used only to provide operator-facing calendar, agenda, task, reminder, and personal-context features. Examples include displaying an agenda, detecting scheduling conflicts, creating an event or task at the operator's request, synchronizing completion state, and connecting those records to relevant personal context.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, used to build advertising profiles, or transferred to data brokers. It is not used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.
Storage and protection
OAuth credentials and working service state are stored on infrastructure controlled by the operator. Siglattice may retain Google record identifiers, timestamps, normalized event or task state, action receipts, and context derived for the operator's requested features. Access is restricted to the operator and the local services needed to provide those features.
Reasonable technical and operational safeguards are used, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Sharing and disclosure
Siglattice does not share Google user data with third parties except when necessary to operate a user-requested feature, comply with applicable law, protect the security of the system, or use infrastructure providers acting on the operator's behalf. Any such handling remains limited to the purpose for which access was granted.
Retention, deletion, and revocation
Google authorization credentials are retained while the connection is active or needed to provide the requested features. Locally stored service records and derived personal context may be retained for continuity until the operator deletes them.
Authorization can be revoked at any time through the Google Account permissions page. Revocation stops future access but does not automatically delete information already retained by Siglattice. To request deletion of locally retained Google user data, contact the operator at kristopher.williams@fastmail.com.
Public website data
This public information site does not intentionally use analytics, advertising trackers, or account cookies. It is hosted by GitHub Pages, which may process standard request information under GitHub's own terms and privacy practices.
Google API policy
Siglattice's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as Siglattice changes. Material changes to the handling of Google user data will be disclosed before the new use begins. Questions or requests may be sent to kristopher.williams@fastmail.com.
